Little Tree Project
The Little Tree Project was launched in 2009 and offers a new approach to learning about, creating and enhancing new and existing habitat. The Project is aimed principally at educating and involving young people within schools and community groups but drawing in business and the wider community too.
“You protect that which you love” is a recognized philosophy and the core aim is to inspire young people to connect with their environment in a practical and creative way. By involving youngsters in the creation of wildlife habitats within their immediate surroundings (schools, parks, playing fields, homes) we hope to encourage a whole generation of environmental thinkers who understand the importance of maintaining healthy ecosystems and their vulnerability in the face of human development. As importantly, they will be learning the practical skills necessary to be able to make these ideas a reality. For more information contact: [email protected]
